Profenofos 50% EC is A Broad Spectrum Insecticide Cum Acaricide. It Has Strong Contact, Stomach And Ovicidal Action
It is a non-systemic insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action.
It Has Excellent Translaminar Action, When Sprayed On The Upper Surface Of Leaf, It Immediately Percolates Down To Lower Surface Of The Leaf.
It is compatible with all existing plant protection chemicals presently available in the market except alkaline formulations.
It is a combination product for the control of bollworm complex.
It is Used to kill Worms, eggs and fungal diseases.

Mode of Action: non-systemic insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action

Profenofos is a neurotoxin acting as a cholonesterase inhibitor in insect nervous system. The separate optical isomer, due to the chiral phosphorus atom, shops different types of insecticidal activity and ability to inhibit acetyl cholinesterase.
